I was a little nervous to see a consultant privately as I have worked all my life as a nurse in various roles in the NHS . However I have developed some worrying symptoms of a chronic Respiritory disease of which I have a very sad close family history of. Although my GP has been as helpful as possible in her role an urgent referral to an NHS clinic was months away. I saw Dr Ramin Baghai- Ravery and immediatly felt comfortable in his assessment of my problem and his explanations . He recommended a few tests which I have had and will see him soon for follow up and advice . I felt as if a bit of a weight had been lifted although the news was not particularly good. Thankyou

The experience was very positive. As I haven't seen a respiratory consultant for 15 - 20 years, I was not familiar with some of the tests and procedures mentioned during the consultation. However, I have every confidence in the doctor and hope that it can be facilitated for me to continue seeing him, once tests he suggested have been carried out, in order to work towards improvements in managing my breathing difficulties.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I do hope to address your symptoms satisfactorily, to facilitate both better understanding and steps in self-management where appropriate.

Dr Baghai Ravary was welcoming which immediately put me at ease. He took a history and asked many questions and had already obtained medical details. He was thorough in his assessment.

Dr. Ramin-Ravary is a pleasant gentleman; the questions he asks are relevant and discussing anything with him is easy. He is very relevant when discussing my health and I have total faith in his competence in helping resolve my health problems.
